http://www.orhand.com/blog/inspiration-of-the-week-28/#respondFri, 13 Nov 2015 17:10:07 +0000http://www.orhand.com/?p=2490This week, let’s take a look at the work of Ryogo Toyoda, who creates amazing 3D illustrations. For the print lovers, I found two magnificent examples using copper foil and translucent paper – a branding design and a poster creation.
Last November 11 was Origami Day in Japan, so why not celebrate it with a selection of sweet pieces. As dessert, Antoine Geiger and its disturbing photos of people getting sucked into their phone screens. ★Ryogo Toyoda
3d Illustrator and Motion Designer Ryogo Toyoda was commissioned by YouTube Japan to create some artworks for their annual “YouTube Space Art Night”. Actually, his entire portfolio deserves a review !
★Branding design for Wendigo
The Distillery were approached by the Wendigo team to create a new identity. The Distillery utilised dark paper stocks with copper foil, and combined it with illustration and hand type.
This poster by Kevin Cantrell is absolutely stunning ! Hot-stamped into a special paper, it turns transparent when backlit or held up to natural light.
With his clever but undeniably creepy photo series, French artist Antoine Geiger try to show that we are more engrossed in that virtual world than the real one happening around us.
